The Lounge Pants, along with the companion workshop, the Lounge Top, is a modern classic style that is reminiscent of 1930's Hollywood glamour. As pictured here, we made these pants using some of our soft and comfortable poly charmeuse fabric that gives them a classy look, but can be made with other woven fabric. This project is designed to be an introduction to sewing in a fun and easy way that will engage both young minds and older hearts.

The morning workshop will be for our younger sewists and the Sunday afternoon workshop is for adults. A choice of fabric and pattern is included with the purchase of this workshop. This can also be done as a virtual project where you could make your own pj pants (and each virtual participant must have a sewing machine available for use.)

This project is currently scheduled for Sunday, October 11th, with the morning workshop (from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.) for youth up to ages 16 -- and the afternoon workshop (from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.) for older teens and adults.

If you choose the virtual option, the project kit for the virtual workshop will be available for in-store/curbside pickup or can be mailed. Please allow a minimum of 1 week prior to the workshop for mail delivery. The workshop is appropriate for ages 8 and up and for all skill levels.
