Just Make it Sew has a variety of learning opportunities for you to learn to sew or to brush up on your skills. Material covered in individual lessons varies according to the individual student's age, level of experience, area of interest and personality. Basic sewing skills as well as pattern drafting, design and advanced techniques are taught. Sewing consultations are treated as an individual lesson.

Lessons are usually an hour or more in length and may be taken on a weekly, bi-weekly or other basis. Time may be scheduled at the convenience of both student and instructor in a minimum of one-hour increments. All lessons and consultations take place at Just Make it Sew. Scheduling priority is given to prepaid lessons that are scheduled on a weekly basis.

All lessons are subject to the Just Make it Sew class policy. We do not refund prepaid lessons. The following price list is our current price for individual lessons. (Click on the bold link below to reserve and pay.) We ask that lessons be used within 4-6 months of purchase. Prepaid lessons not used within six months of purchase are converted to store credit and may be applied to the then-current lesson rate. Store credit or prepaid lessons not used within six months from date of purchase are subject to a $5.95/month handling fee.

• Individual One-hour lessons -- $42.00 per one hour block of time Minimum of one hour, paid in advance. Additional time beyond the initial hour may be paid in 1/4 hour increments as availability allows.
  

• Individual Two-hour lessons - $38.00 per hour ($76.00) when purchasing just two hours, paid in advance. The time can be taken as individual hours or together as a two-hour block for one person.

• Five (5) prepaid one-hour lessons - $34.00 per hour ($170.00) when purchasing the equivalent of 5 hours. Time may be scheduled at the convenience of both student and instructor in a minimum one-hour increments. Must be used within 4 months of initial purchase.

• Ten (10) prepaid one-hour or five (5) prepaid two-hour lessons - $31.50 per hour ($315.00) when purchasing the equivalent of 10 hours of time. (A 25% discount over the one-hour rate.) Must be used within 6 months of initial purchase.

• Two for Two - Two-hour lesson for two people - $52.50 per person ($105.00) when purchasing two hours for two people, paid in advance. Block of time must be continuous over the two hours.

• "Studio Time" is available for $24.00 per hour. Studio time is where you may use our machines and space and an instructor is available for general questions, guidance and occasional assistance. Minimum of one hour and based on availability of space. Prepayment is not required for studio time.
  

• Group Lessons (aka Make-a-Workshop) are available. A "group" lesson is three or more people scheduled for the same time and day. Pricing for group lessons is based on the number of students, the length of time and the project chosen. Projects are agreed upon prior to the group lesson and are skill appropriate. In-Store Private Lessons - During the current pandemic, and to accommodate individuals who may not be comfortable with people coming into the store or sharing our studio space with others taking individual lessons at the same time, we are offering a "closed door" lesson time where the shop will not be open for business during our regular business day. These hours may be scheduled prior to the regular opening of the store, or at the end of the day. Cost for a one hour private lesson is $75.00. A block of five (5) one hour lessons is $335 and a block of ten (10) one-hour lessons is $635.00. Please contact for more information..
