Introducing Woodland Wearables! A "Just Junior" workshop.

Just Junior workshops are designed to introduce sewing to your junior sewista. Geared towards children ages 5 to 7, we introduce your junior sewista to the world of sewing with a lite educational element. In this workshop we'll start the workshop by cutting out and hand sewing or gluing a set of woodland creature finger puppets. After finishing their puppets, we'll sit down together and read selections from the book "Woodland Creatures" by Aunt L.

Each creature featured in this smartly illustrated book has its own poem featuring some of the characteristics that make that specific woodland creature unique. This engaging children's book introduces your child to the gentle creatures that live around and near us in a cute and fun way that adults will enjoy too. Class is currently scheduled for Sunday afternoon, February 24th, 2019 from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Class size limited to 7 students and a parent/guardian. Workshop includes a lite snack.
