Cochella – the Music Festival – has inspired us to think creatively and plan our own summer extravaganza! Your sewist will a great week, making new friends, making their own fashionable and classic items, and being inspired. YOU — and they — are cordially invited to join Just Make it Sew as we explore creativity, fashion and sewing.
Our summer camps are appropriate for beginning to advanced sewists from ages 8 to 17. Each student will have a choice of fabric, make design choices and create items that are fashionable, fun to wear or use, and allow them to express their creativity. By guiding our budding sewists with fit and style choices, we will assist them in making skill appropriate items they’ll love to wear, use or take with them to travel or go to Cochella! Your sewist will gain valuable life-skills creating finished projects that are as unique as they are! For our returning and more advanced sewists, we also offer a few advanced projects. Besides having fun, we will make up to 3 or 4 items as time allows, which will be chosen from among the following projects:

So, begin planning your summer of fashion and join us in this exciting week. You’re sewist will have a grand time learning, sewing and dreaming of attending their own summer music festival. But, don’t delay, as our camps have been sold out the last three years. Even better — bring a friend! We look forward to seeing you soon.
Cost for a week of camp is $390.00 and includes all fabric and materials for the camp
Camps run Monday thru Thursday from 9:00 am to 3:30 p.m each day. Sewists will need to bring their own sewing tools kit or you can purchase the kit (or items individually) by following the link above. Plus we will have a pizza lunch one day of camp (Bordentown location only). To register for the camp 1) pay the non-refundable deposit by adding your camp to your shopping cart and select your desired week. 2) Once registered you will need to print this Registration Form and complete it. Then you can either mail the form in or bring it in on the first day of camp along with your remaining payment. Register by April 15th and we’ll take $30.00 off the cost of the camp! Camps fill up fast, so reserve your spot today!

In addition to the above camp weeks, JMIS will be offering a few extra “mini-camp” days. On these days, Sewists will work on projects that are skill appropriate and chosen from our library of available projects. You need to sign up for each day individually. They are being offered on:
